SQUIRREL GIRL is strong, agile, smart, spunky, and feminist. Her superpowers include being able to communicate with squirrels, super human strength and lightening speed. Doreen Green (aka Squirrel Girl) attempts to reinvent herself at Empire State University and make “normal” friends, while keeping her Superhero identity a secret. She is accompanied by her life-long friend TIPPY-TOE, her squirrel sidekick. DOREEN, her smart roommate, NANCY, and a fellow computer science student, TOMÁS love majoring in computer science. Havoc ensues when their brilliant computer professor BRIGHTMIND is kidnapped. Squirrel Girl saves the day without violence by using compassion, empathy, a sense of humor and by spreading a positive “everyone is important” message

Superheroes: With great power comes an ordinary responsibility By Ian McWethy
Meet our superheroes, for whom saving the world may be tough, but the days without crime and disaster are even tougher. The Hulk has to do his taxes, Robin joins a support group for sidekicks, Batman picks up his dry cleaning, everyone wants to join the Avengers, and Black Widow and Storm are mistaken for other superheroes. Superheroes is a fast-paced one act.
