Ways to Give
The generous spirit of past and present donors is evident as you explore the halls of CSG. We are grateful to all who continue to make CSG a philanthropic priority. Thank you for your friendship and support!
Charitable giving and volunteerism are gracious investments of valuable personal assets—time, talent, and treasure. There is no better way to demonstrate support for and commitment to CSG than by dedicating personal resources to ensure our girls are able to realize their unique and varied academic goals and dreams.
Annual gifts enhance the academic program, provide professional development opportunities for faculty, and fund needed upgrades of facilities. Philanthropy plays a pivotal role in independent schools; fulfilling special needs that tuition alone cannot cover.
Participation in the Annual Fund by all members of the CSG community is vital as these unrestricted dollars help meet every day needs and directly benefit students.
Gifts to CSG may be structured to meet individual needs and passions; whether for use today or in the future, for unrestricted use or designated for a specific purpose, CSG’s Development Team will gladly help you fulfill your philanthropic goals. (Please review your financial situation with a legal, financial, or tax advisor to determine the best giving vehicle option for you.)
Thank you for supporting bright young minds—our leaders of tomorrow.
Contributions made by check, cash, or credit card are tax deductible in the calendar year the gift is made. Please make checks payable to Columbus School for Girls and mail to the Office of Development: 65 S. Drexel Avenue, Columbus, OH 43209.
Or, you may make a gift anytime through our secure web site.
You may make a pledge at any time during our fiscal year (July 1 - June 30) and have until June 30th to fulfill the pledge to receive academic year recognition. Pledges may be fulfilled through a single contribution or multiple payments using cash, check, credit card, or stock. We can also arrange automatic payments from a credit or debit card.
Making a gift of stock is simple:
1) Notify CSG of your intention to make a gift of stock. To properly credit your gift, CSG must be aware of the transfer details. Because DTC information often does not include the owner of the assets, it is quite difficult to match donors with stocks sent without advance notification.
2) Supply your broker with the following information:
CSG’s Financial Consultant:
Account Number: 54h-04145
DTC Number: 8862
3) Send CSG a copy of your stock transfer authorization letter or details of the gift (stock name, number of shares, and approximate date of transfer). In accordance with IRS guidelines, the date of the gift will be the date that CSG assumes ownership of the shares. For crediting purposes, the value is determined as the average of high and low listings for the stock on that date.

An in-kind gift is a donation of goods or services (such as equipment, computer hardware and software, books, artifacts, and art) that helps to advance the mission of CSG. These gifts may be tax-deductible.
Fill out this In-kind Gift Form.
Donors may choose to designate CSG as a recipient of a grant from a family foundation, charitable gift fund, or donor-advised fund. CSG also has a variety of specific opportunities and programs that regularly receive support from individual, corporate and foundation funders, as well as unique opportunities that might be of interest to donors looking to explore philanthropic opportunities.
Please contact Regan Mazak at 614.252.0781 ext. 301 for assistance or for more information.
Also known as deferred gifts, planned gifts are a decision today to make a future gift. A discussion with your tax, financial or legal advisor should be your first step in determining the best way to accomplish both your philanthropic and financial goals.
