Flower Sale 2019

Welcome to the 2019 Flower Sale!

The Columbus School for Girls Parents' Association is pleased to officially invite you to shop its annual Flower Sale! The sale web site launched last year, www.csgflowersale.com, is now open for business again with photos and detailed descriptions to help meet your gardening needs for the spring and summer.

We greatly appreciate the support that so many of you have given to the Flower Sale over the years. As the largest fundraiser for the CSGPA, the sale has netted over $190,000 for the school over the last five years. All profits are returned to CSG, the benefits of which have a direct impact on your daughter and help ensure that “she will know her power”. Accomplishments include providing professional and curriculum development, dynamic speakers, artists, and authors for chapel visits, books for the classrooms, funding for STAR reading and Reading Focus, new playground equipment, field trips, athletic equipment, instruments, funding for Drama, Robotics, Mock Trial, and so much more!

If you plan on purchasing annuals, perennials, hanging baskets or vegetables for your own garden, patio, yard or business please consider purchasing them from the CSG Parents' Association Annual Flower Sale. We have a long-standing relationship with local growers who provide top quality products. As a reminder, this is a purchase in advance sale with a deadline for payment of March 15, 2019. Your orders will be available for pickup at Kirk Campus or delivery to your home (share the website with your neighbors and coordinate a neighborhood delivery for a small fee) on May 15 and 16, 2019.

If you do not have time for a garden, we also have the option of a vegetable flat donation. Vegetable flat donations not only support CSG activities but also help Columbus non-profit organization, Local Matters, carry out its mission to create healthy communities through food education, access and advocacy. Last year, through your generosity, we donated over 130 flats to Local Matters! A donation of vegetables is an ideal option for out of town family members and alumnae.
