Any and every gift to CSG is an investment in the learners of today and leaders of tomorrow and makes a significant difference. Thank you for your commitment and dedication to our students and school.

We are able to maintain and expand our standards for academic excellence, offer incomparable learning opportunities, and ensure a premier educational experience in and beyond the limits of the classroom because of the philanthropic support from our community. Thank you for your commitment and dedication to our students and school.

As with all independent schools, CSG is financially autonomous—our operating budget is funded by a combination of revenue provided through tuition, endowment distribution, and gifts to the Annual Fund. Year after year, Columbus School for Girls’ main funding priority is the Annual Fund.

Tuition Assistance

Our students come from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds. CSG’s tuition assistance program is available to and utilized by nearly 36% of our families with one in every four students receiving some form of tuition assistance.

Scholarship Walk

A beloved tradition dating back to 1972, the Scholarship Walk brings our community together to raise funds for tuition assistance to ensure that every girl who could flourish and thrive at CSG has the opportunity to do so.

Each year, CSG draws a dedicated source of income from the endowment and uses those funds to develop world-class programs, provide tuition assistance, recruit and retain preeminent teachers, and ensure security and stability for CSG’s future.

In addition to the Annual Fund, we rely on the generosity of our community to provide critical resources to expand tuition assistance, grow our endowment, and fund exciting new projects. If you’d like to speak about these opportunities or learn about other ways to make a difference in the lives of our students, please contact Amy Borntrager, Chief Development Officer, at or 614-453-4506.
