Common Sense Webinar Recording As we shelter in place as families, our anxiety levels are rising, particularly as so much about the future is unknown. Lisa Damour, New York Times columnist and author of Under Pressure: Confronting the Epidemic of Stress and Anxiety in Girls, was the featured guest in this week's Conversations with Common Sense webinar. Damour outlined how to help your child (and you!) bear some of the difficulty and unpleasantness of right now and leverage these moments to build coping skills that are protective over time. Here is the recording in case you missed it.

PYC Thank you all for joining us for our first-ever virtual PYC End-of-Year Assembly! It was wonderful to sing together while honoring our 5/6 class as they transitioned to Lower School. If you were unable to attend, you can view the recording here. Lower School Thank you all for joining us for our first-ever virtual Lower School Day program! It was such a joy to be with you all and to celebrate our extraordinary Class of 2027! While the end of the year is always bittersweet, and the teachers and I never like saying "goodbye" for a whole summer, I want to share with you a few exciting ways we plan to stay connected! Middle School I have often joked that CSG students love tradition SO much that after the first of any event, they deem it to now be a "tradition" and demand its repetition on an annual basis. Last night was our first ever Form VIII Farewell, an event borne from necessity as we search for creative ways to bring celebration and closure to the end of a school year filled with exceptions. Upper School As you know, I offered a bittersweet farewell earlier this week, but I'm still looking forward to all of our closing events next week! This week, Form XII students have been busy completing their Senior May Program projects and Form IX-XI students have been having fun with their May Program projects. |
