Alumnae Weekend 2024

Alumnae Weekend 2024: Friday, April 26th through Saturday, April 27th

Join us in celebrating the 125th anniversary of Columbus School for Girls at Alumnae Weekend 2024. This event is not to be missed! We will be honoring classes ending in 4s and 9s, but we welcome and encourage all alumnae to join in the festivities.

Alumnae Weekend 2024 Schedule

Registration has now closed for Alumnae Weekend 2024

Please note that last year we surveyed this community and heard your support for moving to digital communication regarding alumnae events. Thank you for your support in helping CSG be a more sustainable school community! Help us spread the word by forwarding the registration to your classmates and sisters and encourage everyone to attend this year's festivities. Be on the lookout for future email communications from the school about this and other events for alumnae! Donations and registration fees can still be mailed to the school; please contact Megan Murray '11 at 614.252.0781 ext. 137 or to RSVP with a mailed registration and/or donation.

Alumnae Awards
The Alumna of the Year Award and the new Outstanding Young Alumna Award will be presented on Friday during the Alumnae Assembly. Nominations were due January 31, 2024. Read here to learn about the 2024 award recipients, Beth Crane ’69 and Rabbi Maya Zinkow ’10.

Red/Gold Team Challenge and Class Gifts
The team and class challenges officially kicked off February 9, 2024! This tradition and friendly rivalry dates back many years and is a way for alums to support today’s students. Using this link, you can support the CSG Annual Fund and score points for your team and class challenge. Even if you cannot attend Alumnae Weekend, you are still able to contribute to these challenges.

Participation and funds raised will be tracked and recognition will be provided at Alumnae Weekend for the following milestones:

  • The Red or Gold Team will win for overall highest participation across classes.
  • A reunion class will receive the Champagne Cup for highest class participation.
  • A reunion class will receive the Red/Gold Cup for the largest amount raised total by class.

Donations made during this challenge will support the Annual Fund. If a class is interested in making an additional class gift donation, please contact Amy Borntrager at 614.252.0781 ext. 131 or to learn more about additional funding priorities. Participation is what matters most, but if you’re wondering how much to give, consider an amount that reflects your graduation year. For example, can the class of 1974 reach 100% participation by each donating $19.74? Every contribution makes a difference.

Independent schools like CSG rely on philanthropy to provide our students the very best education and to ensure that CSG remains the premier school for girls. By supporting the Annual Fund, you provide vital resources to support our visionary faculty, innovative programming, and curious students.

Alumnae Scholarship Walk & Scholarship Fund
The Alumnae Scholarship Walk will take place on Saturday morning at Kirk Campus. This will be a self-directive walk around the track - do one loop or many! This is a time to reminisce on your Scholarship Walk days at CSG and make a new tradition with your alumnae community.

A key component of the walk is also to raise money for student scholarships. So in addition to walking with us, we ask you to consider raising funds with us! Today, nearly 38% of CSG students receive financial assistance, without which, the transformational
education CSG provides would not be an option. While the alumnae walk is free to participate, you can make an optional donation to support the fund. For those that donate $100 or more, you will receive the student designed t-shirt this year! Shirts will be distributed at Alumnae Weekend, or shipped directly to the recipient if needed.

Jubilee Celebration
After Alumnae Weekend concludes this year, we invite you to join us Saturday evening for a reimagined Jubilee Celebration - a party 125 years in the making! It will be a night to celebrate CSG's quasquicentennial and honor the impact and lasting legacy of Jubilee's original founders, Nancy Jeffrey and Ann Pizzuti. This elegant, community wide affair will feature a live band, decadent food, and an open bar. To purchase tickets, click here. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. If you are interested in learning more, please contact Rebecca Bailey at 614.453.4511 or We hope you will join us for this extra celebration!
