Why All Girls?

"Young women at girls' schools are inspired to become informed, engaged global citizens who lead with courage, competence, and empathy. Research has proven girls' school graduates display stronger community involvement, greater cultural competency, and increased political engagement."

See how she will THRIVE

At Columbus School for Girls, we know girls do better in an environment created specifically for them. We believe they should be free to be who they are and do what they will without anyone standing in their way. An all-girl education means girls lead every conversation, hold every leadership position, and gain confidence every day.

The All-Girls Benefit

Greater Cultural Competency

Students at CSG are given a multitude of opportunities to explore and experience new cultures. Students of all ages take part in celebrating and learning about Lunar New Year and Diwali, Form III (3rd Grade) students begin Spanish class, Upper School students have the ability to study abroad, and so much more.

Develops Leadership Skills

At CSG, we encourage and support our students in their leadership endeavors. The Center for Girls’ & Young Women’s Leadership Program is unique to CSG students, where girls are given the opportunity to develop leadership and active listening skills.

Fosters Interest in STEM

Students of all ages have the freedom to explore STEM. Forms I-XII (1st-12th Grade) also have the opportunity to submit their work to be featured in our Sisters in STEM Journal. Upper School students can also be a part of The Center for Science Research and Engineering.

Prepares Girls for the Real World

CSG alumnae are making a difference all over the world – leading Fortune 500 companies, directing award-winning films, building robots, creating life-changing nonprofits, teaching tomorrow’s leaders, and so much more.

"I joined CSG when I was three years old. Growing up here, I truly believe that I've developed confidence that I wouldn't have been able to elsewhere. This has allowed me to become a leader when I usually would shy away from opportunities."
