Parent Visits

An individual parent meeting is a required part of the admissions process and usually includes both a conversation with an admission director and a campus tour on a school day. We value these individual meetings, which enable us to learn about your daughter directly from you.

We invite every applicant to CSG to visit our school as a required part of the admission process.

what to expect

LS

The day before your daughter’s visit, the Admission Office will send you a short video from a teacher and student of the class she will be visiting.

On the day of your visit daughter’s, plan to arrive at 8:15am at the Admission Office. Your daughter will meet her teacher and host buddy and leave for class. Visits will conclude at 10:30am for Forms I and II. Visits for Forms II and IV will conclude at noon.

MS

The night before your daughter’s visit, a CSG student host buddy will call with some specific information about your daughter’s visit day, including her daily schedule and any special happenings.

Plan to arrive at 7:50 a.m. at the Admission Office. Your daughter will meet her host buddy, who will introduce her to teachers and classmates. Plan to pick up your daughter at noon at the school’s Main Entrance.

US

The night before your daughter’s visit, a CSG student host buddy will call with some specific information about your daughter’s visit day, including her daily schedule and any special happenings.

Plan to arrive at 7:50 a.m. at the Admission Office. Your daughter will meet her host buddy, who will introduce her to teachers and classmates. Plan to pick up your daughter at 12:45 p.m. at the school’s Main Entrance.

what to wear

We do not have an official dress code for visiting students, but we do ask that you wear school- and age-appropriate clothing. For students visiting the Lower School, we recommend bringing weather-appropriate clothing for outdoor recess. If your host buddy will have PE class during your visit, please bring comfortable gym clothing and shoes.
