Health and Safety Procedures

V.A.T. will be using the Ohio Public Advisory System as their guide for transportation students.  Seats will be marked to ensure students and staff are socially distanced and currently will be sitting one student/seat unless they are from the same family. Seating charts will be required to assist with contract tracing and students will be required to wear masks the entire time they are on the bus.

Bus drivers will be subjected to daily wellness assessments, they will wear a mask and gloves while students are on the bus.  Vehicles will be cleaned and sanitized after each group and again at the end of the day.  Windows will be down and/or ventilation systems will run to increase circulation of outdoor air as much as possible.

Automatic dispensing hand sanitizer machines are installed at the passenger entry door for all riders and students should complete the Ruvna Wellness Assessment before boarding the bus.  Students/Staff members should enter and exit the bus socially distanced.

Bus transportation is available for students in Kindergarten through Grade 12.

Public School District Bus Transportation

If the commute from your home to CSG is within a half-hour drive time, your home school district is required, by law, to provide bus service to your child. To learn more, register for that service, or to hear details around changes and procedures related to the pandemic, please contact your district’s transportation office and work directly with them.
