Mrs. Jennifer Bunker
Born and raised in Bexley, Ohio, Jen Bunker is a familiar face on the eastside She graduated from Bexley High School in 1991 where she was a field hockey, basketball, and track athlete. She was inducted into the Bexley Athletic Hall of Fame in recognition of her athletic achievements which included winning the 100 and 400 (setting the Divison II state record) at the State Track Meet her senior year. In the fall of 1991, she became a two sport Division I athlete at the University of Michigan. She was recognized as a scholar athlete in field hockey and track and field and earned 2nd team All-Big Ten in track and field. After college, she began her coaching career at Bexley High School, as well as pursuing a career in financial planning. In 2004, she decided to leave the business world to pursue her true passion for working with children. She first worked at CSG in the fall of 2006 as the assistant Upper School field hockey coach and Interim Head Coach of the track and field program. She joined the Lower School faculty in the fall of 2007 and assumed head coaching responsibilities for the field hockey program and the head coach position for the Middle School track field program. She spent five years at CSG as a 5th Form teacher and coach. She spent the three years teaching and coaching at Columbus Academy. She returned to Columbus School for Girls in the fall of 2015 as the Assistant to the Athletic Director and Head Upper School Track and Field Coach.
