The Grace Notes, CSG’s premier choral performance ensemble, are on their way to New York City as they prepare to perform at the famous Carnegie Hall Sunday, April 7. Last year, the Grace Notes performed at the Worldstrides Onstage Heritage Festival in Nashville, TN, and won a Gold ranking, 1st in their class, the Adjudicators' Award, and the award for Best Choir Overall. With those achievements, the choir was invited to sing at Carnegie Hall this year, where they will perform under the baton of internationally-acclaimed director Dr. Lynne Gackle.  While in New York, the choir will also meet up with New York area alumnae for a brunch to reconnect and celebrate this great accomplishment.

This is the first time that The Grace Notes will perform at Carnegie Hall.  The audition ensemble focuses on vocal technique and music literacy, and ensemble members are expected to bring a level of musicianship to every arrangement. Beyond special performances like the one this weekend, The Grace Notes regularly perform outside of the school day at school events, local venues, and competitions.
