    Seniors are off testing out "the real world" during Senior May Program. The program allows the girls to experience a business or occupation they may be interested in pursuing. Girls are currently placed at COSI, the North Market, a day spa, non-profit organizations and more.

  • Adena Pipe officially the Ohio state artifact

    Girls in Form VII, V, and IV packed into the Senate Finance Hearing Room at the Ohio Statehouse this afternoon to witness Governor John R. Kasich sign the Adena Pipe bill into law. Senator Bacon, Representative Duffy, Burt Logan from the Ohio Historical Society and CSG teachers Charlotte Stiverson and Tracy Kessler made remarks about the importance of this artifact and the girls unwavering determination to see this legislation through.     Columbus School for Girls alumna Margaret Yatsko '10, was recently awarded the ArcelorMittal Leadership Award by The Ohio State University Women in Engineering Program.

  • Ciru Wainaina, XI participated in Otterbein University’s Honor Band

    Ciru Wainaina, XI participated in Otterbein University’s Honor Band last month. She experienced a high-level, fast-paced musical environment which included auditioning for chairs, large group sectionals, and master classes with distinguished Otterbein music faculty. She also got to hear the Otterbein University Wind Ensemble. The weekend culminated with her performing in the Honor Band concert.

  • Sophie Sugar named Athlete of the Week

    Sophie Sugar was named Athlete of the Week in the Columbus Dispatch for lacrosse.This is the second time Sophie has been recognized by the Dispatch as top performer; she was recognized last year as well. Additionally, Sophie qualified for a spot on the team selected to represent Central Ohio in the 2013 U.S. Lacrosse National Tournament. Read more online.
