Annual Giving

Dear Friends of CSG,

This year’s Annual Giving theme “World.Class.” not only represents the core curriculum of Columbus School for Girls, it describes the level of commitment and energy given by the dedicated faculty and staff charged with educating our daughters. As the Co-Chairs of Annual Giving 2007-2008, we hope you will join us in advancing the endeavors of our faculty and our school.

Annual Giving is the foundation of all philanthropy for CSG. The Board of Trustees, the Development Office, and volunteer parents and alumnae come together every year to raise funds to meet the needs of the School.

Tuition supports approximately 90% of the cost of educating each student. The remainder, approximately $1,500 per student each year, comes from annual giving and auxiliary income.

We ask every family to consider giving at the leadership level of $1,500 or more per child. While this level of giving may not be possible for everyone, we ask that you take time to consider your contribution and be as generous as you can.

We will be calling you as the school year commences. If you have already made the decision to support Annual Giving and would like to donate on-line or set up a pledge payment plan, not only will making a pledge or donation have an immediate positive impact on your daughter’s education - making a pledge or donation will also halt further solicitations for Annual Giving this year.

Please consider making Columbus School for Girls a charitable giving priority this year. Your support is greatly appreciated.
