Summer at CSG

News

Welcome to Summer! CSG is preparing for a fabulous summer in which girls and boys will create, soar, and grow! Our goal for the summer is to provide a comprehensive, coeducational experience for children age 3 through Grade 12 in which they may explore many of their educational and extracurricular interests.

Whether your child is an artist, a scientist, a writer, an athlete, or anything in between, we welcome your child to explore his or her many talents and interests with us. Our new state-of-the-art facilities have allowed us to expand our summer experience to best suit the needs of our families. This summer we are introducing many new and exciting classes to peak every child’s summer curiosity. If your child is interested in sparking his or her creativity by writing riddles and limericks, cooking food from different countries, exploring the science of rockets, or even boarding the Hogwarts express, then you have come to the right place! In addition, we offer many academic enrichment classes for your child in the areas that he or she may need extra instruction. For students in grades 9-12, several credit courses are offered for upper grades, such as photography, public speaking and physical education classes.

What’s new in the Summer of 2013?

New One-Week Terms
This year we are transitioning from three-week terms to one-week terms for children in PreK – Grade 8. This means you can come a week at a time or the whole summer depending on your schedule! Also, each week will have a theme where campers may learn about many different topics in a fun and age-appropriate way!

New Earlier Start Date
In the Summer of 2013, all programs will begin the week of June 10, a week earlier than in previous years and run through the week of August 9, 2013.

New Online Registration
This Summer we will begin accepting camp registration online! Registration is now open and available online.

New Leadership
This year CSG Summer Programs welcomes Mikayla Upchurch as the director as well as many other new summer administrators. For more information about the new faces in CSG Summer Programs, please visit our Meet the Staff page.
