Middle School Tennis Team remains Undefeated

Monday, October 1 the Middle School tennis team played its last game of the season. The team is 16-0 for another undefeated season.
CSG's Marissa Madison matched up against Columbus Academy's GeorgiaTuckerman and delivered a repeate performance of CSG's defeat of Columbus Academy earlier this season on their courts. The difference was that this match up was on CSG's home court and "Marathon" Marissa Madison played under the lights until almost 8 p.m. Madison played and won another three hour non-stop quality tennis match against Tuckerman (also a USTA ranked player) 5-7,6-3,6-3.
Tennis is a family affair at CSG and this was no exception as Madison and Tuckerman shook hands after the match, then the cousins hugged each other. Winning is a tennis tradition at CSG and is always supported by tennis families. This season we even had four generations of one family supporting our doubles team. McKenzie Yates had her mother, grandparents and great-grandfather supporting her which is very special. The Madison’s always have at least three generations present at her matches.
