The Cum Laude Society inducted eleven graduating seniors at the Cum Laude Chapel. The program was led by Faculty member Gail Kopetz, and the Honorable Laurel Beatty, CSG Class of 1992, gave the Cum Laude address to the Upper School. The Cum Laude Society is an organization that honors scholastic achievement at secondary institutions. It was founded in 1906 as the Alpha Delta Tau fraternity and changed its name in the 1950s. It presently has approximately 350 chapters, most of which are in private or independent schools located in the United States.

Participating high schools may nominate up to 20% of their graduating class for induction into the society. The society's motto is Areté, Diké, Timé, which translates from Greek into "Excellence, Justice, Honor".
