  • Adena Pipe officially the Ohio state artifact

    Girls in Form VII, V, and IV packed into the Senate Finance Hearing Room at the Ohio Statehouse this afternoon to witness Governor John R. Kasich sign the Adena Pipe bill into law. Senator Bacon, Representative Duffy, Burt Logan from the Ohio Historical Society and CSG teachers Charlotte Stiverson and Tracy Kessler made remarks about the importance of this artifact and the girls unwavering determination to see this legislation through.   • Stephanie Presper '18 to play in Bernard Masters Indoor Tennis competition

    Stephanie Presper '18 will play in the Bernard Masters Olympic Indoor Tennis Circuit this summer in St. Louis, MO. Stephanie has played tennis off and on for the past few years but began playing year round this past year. The top two players in each age group advance to this tournament.

  • Girls participate in Columbus Children's Choir Honor Choir

    On Saturday, April 27 four Columbus School for Girls students participated in the Inaugural Annual Columbus Children's Choir sponsored Honor Choir for Middle School Students. The guest conductor was Dr. Robert Ward from The Ohio State University, and the CSG participating students included: Annie Politi, VI, Raelina Yu, VI, Chloe Fauber-Lyle, VI, and Halley Dunn, VIII. The concert was fabulous; the girls had a wonderful day filled with song, musicianship, and collaboration with students from all over central Ohio.

  • Middle School Pilot Program Roll-out

    As we head into Spring Break and some well-deserved down-time, the Middle School faculty is already anticipating the return of students in April. These have been busy weeks at CSG since the announcement of the new pilot 1:1 tablet program for the current Form VI students and the laptop program for current VIIs. I have much information to share before we begin what will be an exciting few months this spring.
