Languages

The Spanish language is introduced in Form I. Students in Forms I, II, and III meet twice weekly, while students in Forms IV and V meet three times weekly. Understanding how the language is structured and can be used for expression and an appreciation for the diversity of the culture and traditions of the Spanish speaking world are emphasized. Much of the exploration takes place within the context of drama activities. Students will also develop cultural connections through the use of music, games, pictures, art, handcrafts, guests, geography, field trips, technology, and celebration of different types of festivities in Spanish-speaking countries.
