Physical Education

The Lower School program begins with development of individual motor skills which lead to group and game situations.

Emphasis is placed on cardiovascular fitness, strength and toning, and flexibility. As skills are transferred, a non-competitive emphasis is maintained. Physical fitness concepts are a major thread connecting all selected activities.

Extracurricular athletic opportunities are offered through the Bexley Parks and Recreation Program for girls in Forms V and VI. They include basketball, tennis, and field hockey. The annual Lower School Swim Meet and Field Day are highlights of the year for the girls.
