  • Middle School History/Social Studies Teacher

    Columbus School for Girls will be hiring a full-time Middle School teacher commencing in the 2013-2014 academic school year. Candidates for the position should hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in History or a related field (Political Science, International Relations, etc.) with preparation emphasis that includes 4-9 or 7-12 licensure in integrated social studies. Strong classroom management skills, proficiency with classroom technology, and flexibility are key components of the position. We seek an energetic teacher with an expansive background in Middle School education who is eager to build upon a dynamic and evolving program in the Humanities. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to integrate critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, connectedness, and communication into the Middle School learning environment.

  • Full-Time Early Childhood Teacher, Program for Young Children

    For the 2013 – 2014 school year, CSG’s Program for Young Children is seeking a full-time teacher of 3 and 4 year olds in our Early Childhood program. The candidate will have the desire and ability to work in an environment committed to inquiry, reflection, and learning in partnership with the students, parents, and the exceptional faculty; knowledge of the Reggio Emilia philosophy, developmentally appropriate practice, and child development; proficiency with current technology; and a passion for young children and their families. A bachelor’s degree in either Early Childhood or Elementary Education and Pre-K – 3 licensure in the State of Ohio is required; a master’s degree is preferred.

Candidates for the position must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in physical education, sports administration, or an ancillary field by June 2013 with extensive administrative experience in athletic management operations.
