    Columbus School for Girls is seeking qualified substitute teachers who are able and willing to engage students throughout the year in the Program for Young Children (ages 3-6) and Lower School (Grades 1-5). Candidates for the positions should hold at least a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood education (for Preschool/Kindergarten with appropriate certifications) or hold a teaching license that encompasses elementary education (Grades 1-5 for Lower School). We seek energetic teachers with a wide breadth of knowledge, facility with various technologies (Smart Boards, tablet computers, etc.), who possess a strong understanding of effective pedagogy, and an ability to connect with children to serve a wide range of learning styles. CSG is open to hiring talented and promising individuals who are relatively new to the classroom, but prefer at least two years of experience.
